Toothless
Well, we have been dreading this day but we made it. And now Colton has a cute little toothless smile. Jonathan had to come to help hold Colton down. He held Colton with his legs facing him and the doctor held Colton's head in his lap while he put gel on his gums to numb it and then he gave him the shots. That was the worst part. Colton screamed bloody murder as he was given about 5 shots in his mouth. Colton is definitely a fighter, Jonathan had to use all of his strength just to hold him down. Isn't it the worst to watch your little babies hurt? I had to try really hard to keep it together. Then they pulled out the teeth. Luckily the teeth weren't at all attached to the bone and they weren't broken. They came right out all in one piece. In between all of this he just laid his little head on Jonathan's shoulders. He was sweaty and tired, but he made it and he was so happy to leave.
It's crazy because Colton has not been this happy in weeks. Which makes me think he's been uncomfortable for a long time, so sad. I'm so glad this is over and that Colton is a happy camper again.

What a trooper!! We're glad he's feeling better and he probably won't remember much of this when he's older.
That doesn't sound very pleasant. Did the tooth fairy show up?
Poor Colton. Did it hurt him? Didn't the numbing keep him from feeling it? That stinks that he had to have such a hard time at the dentist, he won't want to go back! Glad he's happy again... that has to be comforting!
Poor little guy!!! I agree, Jenny...it is the WORST to see your baby in pain! When Jocelyn broke her elbow, I was losing it at the emergency room b/c I felt SO bad for her and couldn't do anything to help her. Worst feeling ever! :(
I'm so glad that he is happy again and done with that ordeal!!
How are you feeling? The time is soon approaching for number 3, right?!?! I can't wait to see pictures and see who he looks like. :) Miss you!!!
