Luke's first words

Luke's first words that we can understand are uh-oh and Chee (when the camera is pointed at him) he says mama and dada too. He absolutely loves yogurt too, especially when he gets to feed himself! He's just too fun and adorable!

I just needed to write this down so I can remember...
Colton couldn't sleep tonight so I let him sit with me for a bit. He said he was scared of the dark because of monsters. I told him that monsters aren't real. He started to tell me about how there are lots if earths and our earth is the biggest. Monsters live on other earths so do dinosaurs and volcanos. And Jesus lives on a different earth. He died for us so we can all live again. Some of us are Jesus' family and we can be with our family.

Colton doesn't always say a lot, but I love when he gets going. It is so awesome to hear what is actually going through that angelic head of his.

Weekend campout

Colton's valentine's party

Colton had this awesome party for valentines day. We came just on time for the live band and dancing. He mostly just wanted to dance with Miss Megan (the one in the cream sweater). According to Colton, she is the only funny person there is.

Playing Legos with Max

Building Legos is max and my favorite thing to do together. He always gets really excited and animated about finding and puting the pieces together. I need to record how he says "Legos" cause it's do adorable!

Papa's in town

My dad came to town for meetings so we met him up in Salt Lake for dinner and playing at the "dinosaur playground". He got to meet Luke for the first time. As you can see they totally hit it off. We love being able to see papa!!

Alayna and Adelaide

While we were in Europe (that post will be coming soon) Alayna and Adelaide came and stayed with the kids. They had the best time and missed them so much when they left, especially Kirsten.

Luke's blessing

Luke was blessed a couple weeks ago.

Kirsten loves baby brother. And baby brother loves scratching his cute face, hence the socks.

Sunday, February 16, 2014

We had a really fun MLK day. Kirsten got to go skiing with daddy. Then we had a Barbie cupcake wars. We made the best cupcakes ever and then put them on our display.

Luke

Luke has gotten so big and fun!
I forgot to post that he was 13 pounds and in the 95 percentile for height and weight at his 2 month checkup. He's so smiley and adorable and we all just love him to pieces!

Luke loves hanging out in the sink

Christmas

We are thinking about moving to Oregon so we decided to go check it out for Christmas. We has such a great time!!
Here are some highlights.

When we got the medford airport Santa was there! He was kneeling down so max just walked right up to him and sat on his lap.

We did puzzles

We had a snowman breakfast which the kids thought was the best breakfast ever. Max's new favorite saying is "this is the best (insert whatever he's doing) ever!!"

Hanging out at the Oregon coast

Colton wearing the tree skirt as a dress.
To be continued...
