Happy 30th!

Jonathan turned 30 on Thursday! Can you believe it...I'm married to an old man!
We made him some of his favorite things to eat for dinner.

Blowing out the candles.

Present from Kirsten.

I wanted to take him to a Cowboys game for his birthday but he decided that this is what he really wanted.

Kirsten and Colton got presents too from grandma and papa.

Jonathan's mom and grandma came down for the weekend to wish Jonathan a happy birthday. She decided it would be fun to get him with silly string while we were at the park...

The rest of us got it worse than him, thanks to Kirsten.

I hope he had a wonderful birthday!

Last minute trip to Oklahoma

Jonathan's Grandpa has been in the hospital for a few weeks. Last Friday we decided to take a quick trip up to see him. So the next day we drove the 8 hours up to Oklahoma to spend some time with him in the hospital.

Colton, Jonathan, Jonathan's grandma (Grams), Jonathan's mom (grammy),
Kirsten (pretending to be a doctor), and I.

Kirsten and Colton also got in some relaxation time in Grandma and Papa's tub. Colton is still not sold on the idea of a bubble bath.

And for Jonathan's 30th birthday (coming up this Thursday) we brought home a little surprise from Gramps.

More Dallas Trip Pictures

Hanging out at the hotel.

Colton's favorite thing was to run down the hall and press the buttons to get on the elevator.

We stayed across the hall from my parents and Emily it was so fun to put the kids to bed and play games or just hang out.

We took Kirsten to the American Girl store and she bought this stroller with her very own money. She's wearing Aunt Carrie's old dress here, grammy came down to watch the kids while we went to the game which was so nice!

We went to this really big park in Dallas. We drove around and could not find an actual playground. So we tried to convince Kirsten that this little exercise area was the playground. After doing her push ups, climbing the ladder and crossing the monkey bars she decided she wanted some swings and a slide.

Colton found the slide.

Six Flags

My parents were so nice to take the kids while Emily, Jonathan and I rode some big kid rides.

Most rides I can handle, this one, however scares me to death. Emily and I decided to be brave and go on it. It was super scary but super fun.

BYU vs OU Game

We spent the weekend in Dallas at the BYU vs OU game. Leading up to the game Jonathan kept telling everyone it was a win win situation. But in the end it was just like every other OU game. Can you see the tracks of tears on his face?

This was after the game. Just about all the OU fans had left leaving only the stunned BYU fans behind. Such a fun game. And the biggest stadium ever! it was insane!
More pictures to come. And yes, that hat is too big and makes me look like a dufus, I know.
