Our First Christmas Alone...
Since we're all the way out here on the East Coast we decided we'd better stay home for Christmas. I made us a big meal on Christmas Eve (we went over to
someone's house for Christmas) which was very exciting and actually turned out pretty good.
We acted out the Nativity. Kirsten was a very good Mary. We told her daddy was going to be the donkey and she said "and mommy can be
Shrek!".
Here's her new pair of Christmas pajamas.
She had been watching a lot of Christmas movies so she knew Santa likes cookies and milk. After eating a cookie herself, she gave the rest to Santa.
I had to get a picture of our big Christmas tree. We went to a tree farm a few weeks ago and cut down a tree that's probably about 10 feet tall. It was pretty interesting trying to get it to stand up straight. We figured we may never have ceilings this high again, so what the heck.
