Some highlights from the weekend...
Last Friday Jaime, Jason, Cole and Miles came over to watch the opening ceremony. Cole is one of Kirsten's bff's. Don't you love his awesome hair.
Speaking of the Olympics, I am just loving them this year! This has been the conversation in our house since Friday night...
Kirsten: "Where are they?" (pointing to the t.v.)
Me: "They're in China"
Kirsten: "Can we go there"
Me: It's all the way on the other side of the world we'll have to save lots and lots of money to buy tickets to go there.
Kirsten: Let's go buy tickets and go right now and I can swim in that pool.
A more realistic "vacation spot"...
We went to the shore for the first time this summer. We went to a Delaware beach for the first time ever.
We had a humungous storm on Sunday during church with huge hail. Most people had never seen storms like this before so everyone was out of their classes looking out the window. It was very exciting until we realized that our cars were going to be destroyed. Sure enough after church we go outside and everyone's cars had dents ALL over them. As a reward for our car enduring hundreds of dollars worth of damage, Kirsten got to see her first full rainbow. She wanted to go and touch it.
In other news, Colton is now 4 months old! So crazy! Here's his latest picture.
He is now rolling all over the place, losing his hair, laughing hysterically especially when I click my tongue at him (easily amused), and loving his rice cereal.

Visit from Grandpa and Marguerite
We had so much fun having Jonathan's dad and Marguerite come out to visit us from California! I'll let the pictures do most of the talking, since I'm pretty behind on my blogging here.
We went miniature golfing. Kirsten had a blast kicking, throwing, and sometimes hitting the ball in the general direction of the hole.
Grandpa with the kiddos
Of course we took a trip out to Lancaster. We ate at this cute authentic Amish restaurant. We also went shopping and went on a buggy ride, but my camera batteries died so no pictures.
Philly...
We saw the real liberty bell but I have about a million pictures of that. Kirsten and I decided that next time we have visitors we'll just tell them that this lineless bell in the gift shop is the real deal.
We saw the Rocky statue for the first time up close and personal. That was seriously the biggest attraction in Philly that day.
Jonathan's work party was the Friday night before his dad and Marguerite left.
I can't believe how excited Kirsten was to ride this big ride with me.
She had a lot of fun but she wouldn't let me let go to make it spin. It was one of those spinning rides. We came about 2 feet away from getting thrown up on while we were waiting in line...disgusting!
Her favorite attraction...
We had so much fun. Kirsten loved seeing grandpa and Marguerite. Can't wait to see them again!
