About a month or two ago Colton started to get really excited for Christmas. He was talking to us about it in the car. He said, "we're going to have a special Christmas tree with presents." Kirsten likes to push Colton's buttons so she said, "I'm going to get you a rock." Colton loudly replied, "I don't a Christmas rock! I want a Christmas train!".

Colton's Christmas list

Kirsten's Christmas Party

Kirsten had her Christmas party at school today. I always live being able to go and watch her in her element. They ate pizza, played games, and had a book exchange. They played a version of "hot potato" called pass the snowman. It came down to Kirsten and another kid, she ended up coming in 2nd. It was so funny to watch her crack up during all the games.

Scavenger hunt

Kirsten made this great little scavenger hunt for me yesterday. She planted clues around the house, like on the person I love (Jonathan) and stuff. The last clue lead me to the picnic basket which had a delicious snack inside for her and I to share. She is such a little sweetie!

We made some salt dough ornaments last night and things got kinda messy. Kirsten made a salt dough house out of toothpicks.

Rudolf Day

Polar express day

Colton had "Polar Express Day" at school yesterday. It was so exciting for him! He got a train ticket and everything. The only down side is that he didn't get to actually ride a train. He was pretty upset when we left school and he hadn't ridden a train. He didn't understand why he got a train ticket if he wasn't going to use it to actually ride a train.
When I got there he was listening to a teacher read the polar express. She would do different voices for all the characters. The kids would all crack up at these voices. It was pretty funny to watch Colton look around and then start laughing too.
