Well nothing too exciting went on this weekend. We went up near Reading to Cabellas. Of course I forgot my camera. Kirsten fed the fish and practiced shooting.
Kirsten wanted me to take this picture of her and Colton before church on Sunday. Sunday night we had a bbq with some friends and then Monday I was sick so we didn't really do anything exciting.
this morning Kirsten decided she would mop the kitchen floor. She did a pretty good job, I was very impressed. After a long weekend of Jonathan being home I guess it's back to real life.

It's finally over...

Some happenings over the last couple weeks...
"why don't you have him lay with me"-one of the things I hear most during the day.
Colton went to his 1 month checkup last week and the doctor said he should start smiling soon. So we've been making fools of ourselves trying to get him to smile over the last week. (He weighed 11.4 pounds by the way)
He finally smiled! Yes, this really is a smile and it was a lot cuter in person. I hate newborn pictures they're never as cute as real life!
Kirsten loves to play baseball these days.

Boston
For our 6 year anniversary (6 years! crazy!) Jonathan planned a trip up to Boston for the weekend. We drove up to Manchester Friday which should have been a 4 hour trip. It turned into more like 7 hours. I guess we shouldn't have planned to drive by New York City during rush hour. Who knew a bunch of dufuses would be rubber necking a pulled over car (what is it with stupid rubber neckers?) Anyway, we made it to Manchester , CT and hung out with some friends, Michael and Brooke. Which was great to see them even though it wasn't very long since it was so late!
Boston was really nice. We went to Boston commons.
rode the swan boats twice.
And went on the Freedom trail.
We ended up on Old Ironside and were really tired at this point. You can see Kirsten is really excited about the whole thing.
So, we decided to get a cab back to our car. Kirsten took her first cab ride. We heard about liberal crazy heads and how Obama is a communist, among other things, from the cab driver. That was exciting. Then we drove over to the Boston Temple and headed out of town to Peabody, MA.
The next day we headed out to Salem.
And then we went over to this island to feed Colton. Then we set off for a 6 hour drive back home. Luckily Kirsten found ways to entertain herself and the drive wasn't too bad. We had a great time on our short little trip. Kirsten is begging me to come play dollhouse with her so that's it for our Boston trip.
The next day kirsten and daddy went swimming, we filled up our car with the most expensive gas in the country and then set off for
