Yesterday, while I was in the carpool lane at Colton's school, I heard Max saying "hello, ok...bye". I looked back and this is what he was doing. I had just given him an applesauce (we eat lunch in the car a lot these days) and he used the wrapper for a phone. He's getting to be so fun and cute!!

Christmas lights

We went and looked at Christmas lights last night. There's this house in the other town over that is always over the top awesome. They even have Santa and Mrs Claus on their porch. We had such a great time singing "jingle bells" and looking at lights!

Kirsten and Max opening our nightly present. It's always an old Christmas book and they're always excited! Colton wanted to pose for the camera too.

Gingerbread house

All the kids helped make this beautiful gingerbread house. And them Colton proceeded to eat all the candy off of it:)

The kids drinking their "grinch juice" while watching "how the Grinch stole Christmas."
And a picture I took after I caught Maz eating tons of the candy out of our advent calendar.
And Colton's little countdown tree he made at school.

Student of the Week

Kirsten was voted student of the week for Sharing. The ceremony was Friday. Her teacher tells me that she helps the kids in her class with math and is always very kind. The second picture will be in the local newspaper! Her teacher couldn't find the right certificate right before the ceremony that's why her's is different.

We went and took Kirsten shopping yesterday so she could get everyone a Christmas present. She made a very specific list. There was no line for Santa so we decided to go see him. Colton and max were very apprehensive, but they sat on his lap anyway. Santa kept asking Colton questions and Colton just had a nervous smile on his face. Kirsten told him she wanted a play school set. We ate at the food court and went home. We had to hurry an get ready for a pool party for Kirsten's friend. Kirsten had so much fun swimming! Then we went and looked at lights yesterday. It was a busy, great day!
