Oklahoma cont...

When we finally arrived Colton got to meet his cousin Bryce for the first time. Kirsten called him "my cousin" the whole trip. "where's my cousin going" and "my cousin is so funny".

We blessed Colton on Sunday and we did not take very many pictures. Our camera has been freaking out lately, so most of the pictures are blurry.

Emily and Eric playing with Colton.

Colton with Grandma.

Colton with Papa

Finally...

So I am really good at putting things off that I know will take a long time, thus the delay on these pictures (not that anyone cares but anyway here it is).
First off we had so much fun I'm so glad that Justin, Miranda, and Bryce were there it was so fun for almost everyone to be together. Next year Geoff will be there too and it will be great!

The trip didn't start out so great. We woke up at 4 to make a 6:30 flight that didn't actually leave until 10:30. Luckily the Philly airport has a play place.

Kirsten and her new BFF...

We just thought she looked cute pulling her little suitcase around.

We stuck in the Atlanta airport for 6 hours too. They don't have a play area but they do have a train, that was pretty exciting.

Colton's PT appt. and finger sucking

We got back from Oklahoma last weekend and I have a bunch of pictures to put up from our trip. But I'm putting that off for now...
First here's an update on Colton. It seemed like he cried his entire 2nd month of life and I just figured he had colic or something, but then I found out during his 2nd doctor's appointment that he had an ear infection, poor little guy. Anyway, since he started taking his antibiotics he has been his sweet little self again. He's so smiley and happy and so much fun to have around. Yesterday I had to take him to the physical therapists to help him stretch out his neck and prevent a severely misshapen head. The PT was doing all of these stretches and things and Colton was just happy as a clam. She had him laying down on his back and was straightening out his head. He just starting laughing hysterically for a few minutes. It was so cute. The PT said that usually babies are screaming at that point. So here I am feeling so proud to have such an adorable little baby when Kirsten wets her pants all over the floor (I decided to take her with me because usually she's pretty good, but that won't be happening again) . I guess I needed some humbling.

Is this really happening? I have caught Colton sucking on his 2 middle fingers a few times in the last few days. Like sister like brother I guess.

The trail

We went swimming at the river by "the trail" a couple nights ago.
Jonathan and Kirsten skipping rocks

I told Kirsten that rock looked like an Ice Cream cone, she wanted to see if it tasted like one.

Picnic at the park

We're very happy that the schools went on strike this year causing school to get out really late and pushing swimming lessons back so that there could be swimming lessons on Saturday and Jonathan could come and watch. Anyway, we watched Kirsten swim, which was very exciting. And then we headed over to the park and ate lunch and played.

Colton enjoying the park...

Kirsten has always been our little monkey...

Jonathan's 5 Miler

Last Friday Jonathan ran a 5 mile race in Media. We decided to go and cheer him on. Here they are getting ready for the race (and yes that smudge is still on the lens)...

Here he is over halfway through the race. I didn't calculate the timing very well and he is pretty far away from the camera but oh well. When he ran past us Kirsten was yelling "go daddy, go daddy".

The race was super hilly which he had not really trained for but he ran the whole time and he finished in pretty good time!
