Visit from our friends...

Our friends, Spencer, Alyson, and their daughter, Grace, came out to visit us. Alyson and Grace were here for over a week and Kirsten had so much fun playing with a big 5 year old! I think she drove Grace crazy, but they had a lot of fun together. We went to Valley Forge, Lancaster, and downtown Philly. It was so nice to have a break from the monotony for a few days!

Franklin Institute

While our friends were here we went to the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. It was mostly a children's museum and was pretty fun for the girls.

Sorry...

Ok, ok, it's been FOREVER since I've put pictures up. We had some friends in town and we did a lot of fun things, but I forgot my camera everywhere we went! It was ridiculous. I'll have to get my friend to email me some pictures and then I promise I will add A LOT more!

I need to write this down before I forget...

A couple weeks ago Kirsten and I were driving to story time at the library. After getting gas I had to turn around at a park that we have never been to before. As soon as we pull into the parking lot Kirsten proceeds to tell me that she had been to this park before. She said she went there with her friend Chandler. She said all her friends were there and so were Jesus and Heavenly Father. She said this was before she was born before she came to the Earth. I asked her what Jesus and Heavenly Father were doing and she said "they were just watching us play". She talked about this for about 10 minutes. It was so sweet.

Him or Me?

Sorry this took so long Lauri!

What is his name? Jonathan

How long have you been married? 6 years in May! Crazy!

How long did you date? 11 months from our first date to our wedding day.

How old is he? 28

Who eats more? He does, usually (unless we're talking about cookies or candy, then it's definitely me)

Who said I love you first? He did. I was too much of a chicken!

Who is smarter? Definitely Jonathan.

Whose temper is worse? Definitely me.

Who does the laundry? I do.

Who does the dishes? I do. It's kind of sad but it's my quiet time, while Jonathan plays with Kirsten.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do, for no particular reason. When we first got married Jonathan was determined that we would not have "sides" but after a while we succombed and it just became habit.

Who pays the bills? I do

Who cooks dinner? I do. Man, I do everything around here! ;)

Who drives when you are together? Jonathan, he thinks I drive too slow.

Who is more stubborn? That's a toss up. It depends on the situation.

Whose parents do you see the most? Mine.

Who proposed? He did

Who has more friends? Probably me. He has more really close ones.

Who has more siblings? I do, I have 3 brothers and 1 sister he has one sister.

Who wears the pants in the family? I just asked him, and he said "definitely me" but I think we both know who really wears the pants!

Ok Natalee I want to hear your response to these...

Kirsten's Haircut

Well, last Friday was a bit of a traumatic day! I took Kirsten in to get a long overdue haircut. When the lady started cutting it she said that her hair was really damaged at the bottom and convinced me to cut off all the split ends. It ended up being so much hair! All her curls are gone! It's very sad but oh well, I think they'll grow back. She was really excited to show daddy she kept asking, "is daddy going to like it, or no?" It was really cute. Jonathan made sure to tell her that he loved it and she looked beautiful (which it is pretty cute) even though we both do miss her curls!

We made the mistake of telling Kirsten that we were going to go swimming in Washington D.C. for mommy's birthday a couple weeks before we went. Everyday she would ask if we were going to Washington D.C. yet. Sorry the video is really blurry.( I must've had it on a weird setting or something.) I'm not sure why she would shake every time she got out of the water, I guess she saw our old dog doing it so she thought that's what you're supposed to do.
