No More Fingers!!!

Well after over 6 years of sucking those two middle fingers Kirsten has finally broken the habit! We tried bribery, threats, begging, sewing socks on shirts...What finally did the trick???

The FingerGuard. The first few days were pretty rough, but after that it was a cinch! It only took 2 weeks.

We love being able to see this sweet little face without fingers in it all the time!! Yay for Kirsten!

St. Patty's Day

Kirsten had a great time doing our St. Patty's Day Scavenger hunt. Her only complaint was that it wasn't long enough.

They ran all over the house finding clues.

Which lead them to the treasure...a Picnic! It was so windy that we decided to do our picnic inside.

Getting caught up

Last Saturday was a beautiful day so, of course, the kids wanted to be outside all day.

They played in the back of the truck.

They drank gatorade and got pink mustaches.

Played with Marpie.

They all took turns riding on the lawn mower. I wish I had pictures of all the kids because they were all in heaven!
Especially Max. He is our little daddy's boy and always wants to be doing whatever he's doing.

In other news. Kirsten got a 100%+ on her spelling test, which I completely forgot to have her study for. She said she just paid attention really well.

Her New Year's resolution from school.

Max got a little plastic thing (I don't know what else to call it) to go around his neck to help stretch out that one side. I hope he won't always lean his head to the left.

One of Colton's projects from school from when they were learning about jobs.

Kirsten's art.

Max just looking cute.

Chuck E Cheese

Grammy left to go on her mission a couple of weeks ago. She had a great time at the MTC for 2 weeks and left for Africa on Friday. Before she left she took us to Chuck E. Cheese. We all had a great time.

Grammy took all of these pictures so we didn't get any of her with the kids.

Kirsten had so much fun playing all the games and making lots of those little cards with her picture on it.

Colton pretty much wanted to watch this train game the whole time.

Valentine's Day

We started Valentine's Day off with some red velvet pancakes I've been dying to make, doesn't that sound delicious? Well they weren't; the kids wouldn't even eat them...
.

We went to Kirsten's school for her Valentine's Day party. The kids had so much fun decorating cookies, eating, and checking out their Valentine's.

The boys hanging out at the party.

We had our traditional fondue.

I made Jonathan one of his favorite's, fruit pizza.

These guys got swords for Valentine's day. Nothing says Valentine's Day like a sword fight right? They had so much fun with them. Max even joined in.

Some of Colton's art projects from school.

Kirsten had really great time with this little guy. She made him a square and triangle friend and played with them for hours.
